A panther that strayed into the Meerut cantonment zone assaulted no less than two workers at a development site on Wednesday morning, harming them.Wildlife authorities said the creature, which had entered the hostile area the earlier day, was still everywhere notwithstanding endeavors by a Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) group to catch it. The WTI group purportedly shot three tranquiliser darts at the panther on Tuesday night, while it was laying on a tree on the military doctor's facility grounds.
